Requirements
Must be accepted by the institution applied to; Must pursue postdoctoral research outside Hong Kong; Start-up allowance requires returning to Hong Kong within six years of Ph D graduation to take a tenure-track position at a UGC-funded institution; Must be enrolled at one of the nine participating Hong Kong universities for student applicants; Must undergo an interview with a professionally qualified student counsellor for student grants; Must have experienced a sudden, unexpected event such as
