Information regarding the Costume Society of America (CSA) Fellow Honor, the highest honor bestowed by the organization to recognize outstanding contributions to the field of costume.
Must have been a member of CSA for a minimum of 10 years; Must have worked professionally in the field of costume; Must have promoted the field of costume through scholarly output; Must have significantly increased the visibility and reputation of the field of costume and the Costume Society of America
Requirements
Nomination requires a sponsor or co-sponsors who are CSA members; Nominee must consent to the nomination; Initial nomination submission by October 15, 2025; Full nomination packet submission by December 1, 2026
Application materials
Sponsor(s) letter of support (cover letter); Nominee's résumé/C.V.; List of supporters whose letters are included; Summary of highlights from supporting letters; Ten (10) letters of support from CSA members
How to apply
Sponsors contact the potential nominee to secure consent; Sponsors submit initial nomination via online form by October 15, 2025; Committee chair verifies eligibility; Sponsors assemble and submit full nomination packet via online form by December 1, 2026
