Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student; Must be a member of the Costume Society of America (CSA) in good standing; Must be matriculating in a degree program at an accredited institution at the time of the funded research; Must propose a research project in the field of North American costume; Submissions are open to all; Submissions are particularly encouraged from CSA members

Requirements

Research project must be in the field of North American costume; Recipient must prepare an article for review and publication in the CSA journal Dress; Recipient must present completed research at a CSA National Symposium; IRB approval required if research involves human subjects or interviews; Proposed title; Full name and optional pronouns

Contact information; Project proposal (1000 words total); Budget narrative; Transcripts from all relevant academic work; Letters or emails of permission from research sites; Two letters of recommendation
