Eligibility

Applicants are faculty in landscape architecture or a related field.; Applicants are design firms or others with a primary role in the design of the project.; Undergraduate or master’s students in LAAB- or LAAC-accredited landscape architecture programs in the U.S. and Canada.; Cannot be entering final year of study when program begins.; For 2026: must identify as Black/African American or Indigenous.; Must be in good academic standing and demonstrate financial need.

Requirements

All application materials must be submitted by 11:59pm EDT on November 1.; An application fee of $10 (USD) must be paid through SlideRoom.; CSI Research Fellow application requires proposed firm liaison(s) and project(s).; Firm/Project Proposal requires proposed CSI Research Fellow.; Submissions must adhere to guidelines and deadlines.; Pre-proposal: General information, research description, preliminary budget/schedule.
