CLAH membership is required for panelists at the time of proposal submission; Scholars from Latin America or the Caribbean are exempt from mandatory membership; Scholars from fields outside of Latin American History are exempt from mandatory membership; Must be trained in Latin American history; Must possess knowledge of Spanish; Must be a CLAH member
Requirements
Panelists must be current in their dues to participate; No person may present more than one paper at the annual meeting; No person may play more than two roles (presenter, chair, commentator) at the annual meeting; Two-page curriculum vita; Detailed itinerary and budget statement; Three-page narrative description of the proposed project
