Research Proposal Guidelines - SCGSR Program

Guidelines for developing and submitting a research proposal for the SCGSR program, including format, length, and content requirements.

Requirements
Proposal must be co-developed by applicant and collaborating DOE scientist.; Proposal must be developed in consultation with the applicant's primary graduate thesis advisor.; Proposed research must be an integral part of the applicant's doctoral thesis project.; Proposed research must be approved by the primary graduate thesis advisor.; Proposal must address SCGSR Priority Research Areas and leverage DOE lab capabilities.

SCGSR research proposal (3 pages excluding references); References (1 page maximum); Letter of Support from thesis advisor
How to apply
Coordinate with collaborating DOE scientist and thesis advisor.; Develop proposal addressing priority research areas.; Submit proposal through the online application system.; Ensure both advisor and scientist approve the final PDF.
