Doctoral students at North American universities who have completed all PhD requirements (if conducting dissertation research); PhD graduates of North American universities who completed their degree within the past five years (if conducting post-doctoral research); Preference given to applicants whose home institutions do not offer financial support for musicological research; No individual may receive a travel/research grant more than once in a three-year period
