Students at a U.S. or Canadian university; Members of a historically underrepresented group; Must have completed at least one year of full-time graduate work; Intend to pursue a Ph.D.; In good standing at their home institution; Preference given to citizens or permanent residents of a North American country
Requirements
Must be enrolled in full-time study; Cannot hold an equivalent major award concurrently or consecutively unless accepted without a stipend; Not deferrable or renewable; Expected to limit paid or unpaid employment to 20 hours per week during the fellowship term

Brief statement (max 200 words) on underrepresented group status and contribution to musicology; Personal statement (max 1,000 words) on academic background and research interests; Curriculum vitae; Work sample(s) (max 30 pages total); One letter of support from a faculty member
