Stipend of $95,000 with minimum 3% annual increases

Eligibility

Exceptional early-career scientists of great promise; Recently awarded or about to be awarded doctoral degree; Cannot hold paid or unpaid position on Berkeley campus at time of nomination; Postdoctoral experience of less than two years; Non-US citizens must be eligible for J-1 Scholar visa status

Requirements

Nominations must be submitted by others (direct applications/self-nominations not accepted); Nominator's letter of recommendation and judgment of nominee's promise; Letter must be specific to Miller Fellowship, dated, and on institutional letterhead; Nominator should compare candidate with others at similar development stage; Nominee's complete full and legal name, current institution, contact information, Ph.D. institution and date
