Eligibility

SULI Eligibility Requirements

Official eligibility criteria for the Department of Energy Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internship (SULI) program, covering academic, enrollment, age, and citizenship requirements.

Eligibility
Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited community college, two-year college, or four-year institution.; Recently graduated with an undergraduate degree (within two years of internship start date).; Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.; Must be 18 years or older at the time the internship begins.; Must be a United States Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident at the time of application.; Must have completed at least one semester as a matriculated undergraduate.
Requirements
Applicants are limited to participation in the SULI program to no more than two internships.; Applicants can apply to the SULI program a maximum of four times.; Recent graduates must have completed their degree within two years of the internship start date.; Proof of U.S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident status is required upon offer acceptance.
