Undergraduates (junior standing) pursuing German Studies track/minor; Master’s level graduate students in humanities/social sciences with German Studies project; PhD students in humanities/social sciences preparing dissertation proposals on modern German topics; Completed two years of college-level German language studies; Minimum three courses in German Studies; Citizens or permanent residents of US/Canada enrolled full-time at US/Canadian institution
Requirements
Nomination by supervising professor/principal advisor; Short-term research (one to two months) in Germany; Research on cultural, political, historical, economic, social aspects of modern/contemporary German affairs
