Eligibility
Must have been a member of the Society in good standing for at least seven (7) years, consecutively or non-consecutively.; Practicing archivists are specifically reserved for this award.
Requirements
Appropriate academic education and professional/technical training.; Minimum of seven years of professional experience with evidence of responsibility and leadership.; Contributions to the profession demonstrating initiative, resourcefulness, and commitment.; Outreach activities, projects, and scholarship of superior quality and usefulness.; Contributions to the archives profession through active participation in SAA and regional organizations.
Application materials
Core narrative explaining how the nominee meets each criterion.; At least three, but no more than five, letters of support.; Nominee's resume or curriculum vitae.
How to apply
Nominations must be completed online.; Nomination deadline is February 28 of each year.; Individual members, primary contacts of institutional members, student members, and associate members are eligible to nominate.
