Requirements

Research must be in basic biological and biomedical sciences.; Application is a collaboration between student and PhD advisor.; Advisor must submit separate, customized materials for each applicant.; Research statement has a 3-page limit, figures allowed.; Do not reference journal names in any application materials.

Student initiates application via HHMI Application and Review Channel (ARC).; PhD advisor and one additional reference submit materials.; Reference letter describes promise as a scientist, commitment, leadership potential.; Citations uploaded separately, do not count toward research statement page limit.; List up to five contributions to science.
