Eligibility
U.S. citizen; Pre-doctoral candidates (ABD); Postdoctoral scholars; Faculty; Senior scholars at museums, universities and institutions worldwide; Independent scholars holding a PhD or terminal degree
Requirements
Minimum stay of three months, maximum stay of 12 months; Must be at an accredited university in the U.S. or abroad; Must obtain security clearance from the Egyptian government; Research must fall within approved fields of study (e.g., Anthropology, Archaeology, History, etc.)

Online application form; 1500 word research proposal; Two recommendation letters; One language proficiency recommendation letter (for pre-doctoral applicants); Graduate and undergraduate transcripts (for pre-doctoral applicants); Ministry security forms (Antiquities or MoHE)
