Limited to $50,000 for one year

Eligibility

Must be affiliated with a current ARCE Research Supporting Member (RSM).; Principal Investigator (PI) must be an individual member of ARCE.; Preference for junior faculty with graduate degrees or experience.; Not eligible if prior ARCE grant project is incomplete or deliverables not submitted.; Not eligible if a current member of ARCE Board of Governors or specific committees.

Requirements

Project Narrative (1,500-3000 words) including objectives, timeline, outputs, sustainability, and risk assessment.; Minimum of 5 high-quality digital images with captions.; Project abstract (100-150 words).; Proposed estimated cost and cost breakdown, including a budget narrative.; CV of the PI (max 4 pages) and CVs of funded project members (max 1 page).

Submit applications via ARCE.org/grants/aef.; Draft proposals encouraged via email to aef@arce.org before December 20.; Final applications submitted via Submittable Platform before February 15th.

Draft Proposals Due: December 20; Program Staff Response to Drafts: By January 1st; Final Applications Due: February 15th; Award Decisions: By May 15th; Project work must begin within 12 months of signing the contract.
