Eligibility
Must be a member of the APS for at least one year at the time of application; Must be a graduate student who is either the first person in your family to earn a baccalaureate degree or comes from an economically disadvantaged background; Must have at least 18 months left to complete their PhD program; Must be citizens or permanent residents of the U.S. or its territories; Must have an advisor or principal investigator (PI) who is an APS member
Requirements
Full-time enrollment in a program leading to the PhD in the physiological sciences; Documentation on training in responsible conduct of research, human subjects' use, and care and use of vertebrate animals (as appropriate); Continued APS graduate student membership required for a second year of support
