Eligibility

Full-time, promotion-eligible, research-intensive faculty at a PhD-granting accredited U.S. university.; Faculty status must begin on or after January 1, 2025.; Last terminal degree conferred on or after January 1, 2017.; Eligible to apply for independent external research funding.; Should not have other substantial sources of research funding (excluding intramural/startup funding).; Preference for startup funding less than $750,000.

Requirements

Proposed research merit.; Degree of financial need.; Funds must be used for proposed research, not salary or indirect costs.
