Maximum scholarship amount for one year is $12,500, based upon need.

Eligibility

Must be qualified for admission to full-time graduate study in the U.S. or Canada.; Must be a woman from another country.; Cannot hold citizenship or permanent residency in the U.S. or Canada.; Must have a full year of formal coursework remaining.; Doctoral students working only on dissertations are not eligible as first-time applicants.

Requirements

Copy of confirmation of admission to graduate study.; Document promising to return to home country upon completion of degree.; Guaranteed round-trip or return travel expenses.; Budget of estimated expenses and anticipated financial resources.

Application materials

Information available from P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship Fund or www.peointernational.org.; Completed eligibility forms accepted electronically between September 15 and December 15.

How to apply

Eligibility must be established before application material is sent.; Completed forms accepted electronically by the IPS office between September 15 and December 15.
