Eligibility
Individual residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, and American Samoa; At least 13 years old at the time of entry; Teams of eligible individuals, corporations or other legal entities
Requirements
Demonstrate appropriate knowledge of applicable technologies and criminal justice concerns; Developed in collaboration with a criminal justice agency, UHS provider, and software developer; Demonstrate a need for the software application; Articulate how the application will improve criminal justice effectiveness and/or efficiency; Specify public access databases used and proposed method of acquiring/updating data; Identify appropriate and obtainable impact measures

Prospectus (PDF format, not exceeding 10 pages); Cover page for prospectus; Brief biographical sketch of each team member

Entries submitted via the "Ultra-High-Speed Apps Challenge" announcement; Entries made through the Office of Justice Programs Grants Management System (GMS); Two-stage submission process: Phase I (Proposal) and Phase II (Prototype)
