Requirements
Research must be highly innovative and have potential for unusually broad impact.; Must be a newly graduated investigator with a record of scientific innovation and productivity.; Must demonstrate unusual scientific vision and maturity.; Must develop a research project relevant to the NIH mission.; Commit at least 9.6 person-months to the project for years 1 and 2; same for general independent research for years 3-5.
