Information and proposal process for the Neukom Interdisciplinary Working Groups (NIWG) initiative, which provides seed funding for exploratory computational projects.
Faculty from at least two departments; Participants can be drawn from both within and outside the College
Requirements
Must be small (on the order of 8 or so participants); Must be proposed/sponsored by faculty from at least two departments with an explicitly interdisciplinary theme; Must have an explicitly interdisciplinary computational theme; Can extend from one to five days; PIs must produce a summary document for the Neukom Institute
Application materials
Written proposal (at most two pages); Names of proposed participants; Approximate hoped for dates; Rationale of why the meeting is necessary and timely; Hoped for outcomes; CVs of PIs
