NSF offers paid opportunities for undergraduates to expand skills in science and engineering through programs like REU, IRES, and the Pathways Internship Program.
Undergraduate students who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States or its territories are eligible for REU.; Undergraduate or graduate students who are citizens, nationals or permanent residents of the United States are eligible for IRES.; Current students in high schools, colleges, trade schools and other qualifying educational institutions are eligible for Pathways.
