All research must comply with federal, DOJ, OJP, and NIJ regulations.; Researchers must be cognizant of protecting human subject rights and welfare.; Privacy Certificate and Protection of Human Subjects Assurance Identification/IRB Certification/Declaration of Exemption form may be required.; IRB review and submission of Privacy Certificate may occur after award, but funds are withheld until documentation is received.; NIJ accepts findings of commercial IRBs that review studies for compliance with DOJ regulations.
