Eligibility

Compensation allowed for non-salaried, freelance, part-time, or fundraising individuals.; K-12 teachers on normal contracts are eligible for compensation.; Applicants employed full-time in a nine-month university academic position are not eligible for compensation.; Institutional overhead up to 15% of the total budget is allowed.; Dependent care assistance is available.

Requirements

Detailed and realistic budget with reasonable costs.; Complete the 'Reason' field for each budget line item.; Include references for proposed budget amounts where possible.; Budget form should only include amounts requested from National Geographic Society.; Enter budget information in U.S. Dollars (USD).
