Maximum award is $24,000, prorated over study period.
Eligibility
Must be a U.S. citizen.; Must be a teacher, or plan to become one, of American history, government, social studies, or political science at the secondary level (grades 7-12).; Must possess or plan to receive a bachelor's degree by August 31 of the application year.
Requirements
Complete graduate study within two academic years (Junior Fellows) or five calendar years (Senior Fellows).; Teach qualifying subjects for one year for each academic year of funding received.; Attend the Summer Institute on the Constitution.; Complete at least 12 semester credits (or 18 quarter credits) of Foundation-approved U.S. Constitutional study.; Six of these credits are earned at the Summer Institute.
