Information on submitting annual, final, and interim Research Performance Progress Reports (RPPRs) for NIH grant awards, including due dates and required content.

Requirements
Progress reports document recipient accomplishments and compliance with terms of award.; Three types of RPPRs: Annual, Final, and Interim.; Annual RPPR: Describes scientific progress, changes, personnel, and future plans.; Final RPPR: Includes project outcomes and information from annual RPPR (except budget/plans).; Interim RPPR: Used for renewal applications, includes project outcomes.
How to apply
Submit RPPR data through the eRA Commons.; Follow instructions in the RPPR User Guide.; Initiated by Project Director/Principal Investigator (PD/PI) or delegate.; Signing Officials typically submit, but can delegate preparation.; PD/PI can delegate preparation to eRA Commons user with ASST role.
Important dates
Annual RPPRs due approx. 45 days before next budget period start (SNAP).; Non-SNAP RPPRs due approx. 60 days before next budget period start.; MYF RPPRs due annually on or before the anniversary of the budget/project start date.; Interim and Final RPPRs due 120 days from period of performance end date.
