Eligibility

Must be an Armenian student; Must have successfully completed the 1st year of college or be a graduate student accepted to an accredited college or university; Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 based on American Grading Standards; Must not be related to ARS Central Executive or ARS Scholarship Committee members

Requirements

Minimum 3.0 GPA; Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university; Must be involved in the Armenian community; Must demonstrate financial need

Application materials

Completed application form; Two letters of recommendation (one from a faculty member, one from a community member/clergy/mentor); Proof of enrollment; Most current official transcript of grades; Copy of tuition bill; Photograph (2x2 or passport size)

How to apply

Complete the application form in English or Armenian; Submit the application and all supporting documents to your local ARS entity by April 1; Ensure all documents are officially translated into English or Armenian if necessary

Important dates

April 1: Deadline for submission to local ARS entity; May 1: Deadline for receipt by ARS Central office
