Eligibility

Candidate for a Ph.D. degree at a U.S. graduate school.; Fulfill all pre-dissertation requirements by December 31 of the applying year.; Dissertation expected to be completed no later than July of the year following the grant year.; Must not have received a similar grant or fellowship for dissertation writing.; Cannot accept other awards providing similar benefits in the same academic year.

Requirements

Dissertation proposal must be approved.; Must bank or postpone full stipend from school to accept this fellowship.
