Award amount$25,000EligibilityApplicants from professional practice, academic institutions, and research organizations are welcome.; Preference for research teams partnering professional practice with academia/research organizations.; At least one Principal Investigator must be engaged in landscape architecture.; PI must have a bachelor's or master's degree in landscape architecture (accredited programs preferred).; PI must be proficient in written and spoken English.RequirementsResearch projects must be relevant and impactful for professional practice.; Projects must be completed within 12-18 months.; Proposed research should relate to sustainability, climate change, social equity, health, biodiversity, etc.; Applicants must clearly state the research question.; Grantees must submit quarterly progress reports and maintain contact with LAF.Important datesGrant period begins in summer or fall.; Grant duration is 12 or 18 months.ContactMegan Barnes at mbarnes@lafoundation.org
