Eligibility
Emerging researchers of exceptional promise in any discipline within the College of Arts & Sciences at Cornell University.; Must have earned a doctoral degree within two years of the fellowship start date (no earlier than May 1, 2025 for 2027 recipients).; Must have a tenure-track or tenured faculty member with a primary appointment in the College of Arts & Sciences as a host.; Candidates with two or more years of postdoctoral experience are ineligible.; Candidates who received their PhD from Cornell or held a position at Cornell for more than six months at the time of application are ineligible.; Awardees may not hold any other paid or unpaid position during the fellowship term.
Requirements
Identification of a faculty host (and optional co-host) from the College of Arts & Sciences.; Faculty host must submit a sponsorship form.; Three letters of recommendation, one of which must be from the primary doctoral advisor.; Proof of doctoral degree conferral prior to the start of the fellowship.
Application materials
Full CV in PDF format.; Research proposal (maximum 2 pages, single-spaced, 12 point font, 1 inch margins).; Three letters of recommendation.; Host faculty sponsorship form.
