Eligibility
Students in the final stages of preparing a doctoral dissertation written in English; Projects must demonstrate significant original thought and research; Work relating to Brahms must form a significant component of the dissertation
Requirements
Dissertation must be written in English; Brahms-related work must be a significant component of the dissertation; Finalists will be invited to submit a sample chapter
Application materials
Cover letter including applicant's address, phone number, email address, and institutional affiliation; Project description (no more than 500 words); Two confidential letters of recommendation (including one from the dissertation advisor)
