Must be in the dissertation phase of a Ph.D. program focusing on Holocaust research; Eligible disciplines include Anthropology, Cultural Studies, Jewish Studies, History, Political Science, Philosophy, Religion, Sociology, and Women’s Studies; Must be able to focus on research without external commitments like full-time employment; University must have necessary faculty, courses, and research materials; Tuition costs must already be covered; Not eligible if confirmed to receive over $25,000 in other award funding (excluding tuition grants) for the funding year
Requirements
Enrolled and in good standing in a Ph.D. program supporting Holocaust study; Proficiency in a language of Eastern Europe or the former Soviet Union (or relevant region) necessary for research; Attend and present research at an annual summer week-long conference; Commit to full-time employment in Holocaust Studies on an academic level for at least five years post-Ph.D.
