Research and writing on modern Japanese society, political economy, Japan's international relations, or U.S.-Japan relations; Must use data, sources, documents, onsite interviews, or other direct contact in Japanese; Projects must start between April 1, 2027, and September 1, 2028; Period of performance is 6-12 months; Must work full-time on project and forego teaching/administrative assignments
