Eligibility
Overseas publishers (corporations).; Must have the ability to execute the project as planned.; Must not violate Japanese laws regarding receiving grants.; Must have or be able to open a bank account for grant payments.
Requirements
Book must be published between April 1, 2026, and February 28, 2027.; Original Japanese text must already be published.; Must be a direct translation from the original Japanese.; Translation contract must be concluded.; Part of the translation must be completed at the time of application.

Application form; Project proposal (including expenditure plan); Biographies of translator and other key personnel; Translation sample (approx. 30 pages); Copy of the original text; Proof of translation rights
