Award amount
Up to 80% of estimated translation and publication costs can be requested.
Eligibility
Must be a publishing company outside of Japan.; Individuals are not eligible.; Must have the capacity to implement the project.; Must have a bank account for grant remittance.
Requirements
Translated work must be published between April 1, 2026, and February 28, 2027.; Original Japanese work must be published at the time of application.; Translations must be directly from Japanese original works.; Contract for translation rights must be concluded.; Part of the draft translation (approx. 30 pages) should be completed.
