Eligibility

Postdoctoral applicants: no more than 12 months of experience by Feb 1, 2027.; Ph.D. degree conferred no more than 24 months prior to Feb 1, 2027.; M.D. degree conferred no more than three years prior to Feb 1, 2027.; Ph.D. candidates eligible if degree conferred before fellowship start and by July 1, 2027.; Must have identified and committed sponsoring laboratory and institution.

Requirements

Postdoctoral training in the same institution/department as Ph.D. work is not preferred.; Cannot have accepted another postdoctoral research fellowship award.; May hold a T32 but not concurrently with JCC Award.; Fellows may obtain additional awards for research expenses only.; No more than one Fellow per sponsor's lab per award year.

Application deadline: February 1, 2027; Ph.D. degree conferred by: February 1, 2025 (for eligibility); M.D. degree conferred by: February 1, 2024 (for eligibility); Fellowship start date: Prior to July 1, 2027 (for Ph.D. candidates)
