George C. Eickwort Student Research Award - Call for Nominations
Call for nominations for the George C. Eickwort Student Research Award, recognizing distinguished student research in social insect biology. Deadline October 7, 2024.
Graduate or undergraduate students in social insect biology.; Must be a student member of IUSSI-NAS.; Must not have received a Ph.D. or terminated studies earlier than 12 months prior to the award.; Students continuing beyond a baccalaureate or master’s degree are eligible.; Previous award recipients are not eligible.
Requirements
Nomination includes a single PDF with nominee's CV, proof of membership and career stage, research description (max 1 page), and up to three publication reprints.; Optional personal statement (max 200 words) on award's impact and obstacles.; Two separate letters of recommendation on university/company letterhead.

Nominee's curriculum vitae; Proof of IUSSI-NAS membership; Proof of career stage (letter from PI/department head); Research description (max 1 page); Reprints of up to three publications/submitted manuscripts
