Eligibility
Received Ph.D. (or equivalent) degree no more than two years before application deadline.; Received M.D. (or M.D.-Ph.D.) degree no more than four years before deadline.; Employed in postdoctoral laboratory for no more than one year before application deadline.; Training must be in an academic setting, not commercial or industrial.; Fellowships may be awarded to US citizens for research in US, Canada, or abroad; foreign citizens for research in US only.
Requirements
Research plan and evidence of outstanding scientific promise are principal criteria.; Consideration given to overcoming major barriers to scientific success.; Attendance at the Annual Fellows Meeting in November is expected.
