The HAB offers various fellowships for post-docs and experienced researchers, funded by the state of Lower Saxony and cooperation partners.

Award amount

Post-doc Fellowships: € 2.200 monthly, plus travel reimbursement (max. € 2.000) and child supplement.

Eligibility

Post-doc Fellowships: Scholars within 6 years of receiving their PhD.; Short-term Fellowships: Scholars of all career stages (from post-doc to emeriti).; Postdoc fellowship for East-Central European academics: Excellent postdoctoral researcher from the East Central European region.

Requirements

For Post-doc and Short-term Fellowships, request application forms via email, stating research focus and keyword.; PhD must have been awarded in 2021 or later for applications submitted in January 2027 for Post-doc Fellowships.; For Postdoc fellowship for East-Central European academics, library holdings must be essential to the proposed research project.
