National Fellowship Program - Graduate Women In Science

Women in STEM, Life Science, and related Social Science fields.; Hold a degree from a recognized institution of higher learning.; Demonstrate outstanding ability and promise in research.; Performing hypothesis-driven research at any institution in the U.S. or abroad.; Identify as a woman in science, irrespective of race, religion, nationality, creed, national origin, sexual orientation, or age.; GWIS membership is required by the application deadline.
Requirements
Application, including letters of recommendation, must be received on or before the deadline.; Indicate all pending sources of funding on the application form.; If human or animal subjects are used, committee approval must be included.; Research involving field collections must show evidence of proper collecting permits.; Submit a one-page progress report and annual expense report within a month of the fellowship period end.
