Eligibility

States must be in compliance with ESEA section 1111.; States must commit to holding schools accountable for meeting education goals.

Requirements

SEAs can waive select Federal statutory requirements or regulations.; Waivers apply to specific ESEA parts and the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act.; LEAs requesting waivers must submit an application detailing affected programs, waived requirements, goals, and explanations.
