Non-profit archival repositories in the US; Repositories outside the US with SAA Institutional Membership; Archivists in the US affiliated with non-profit repositories; Archivists outside the US affiliated with non-profit repositories and holding SAA Individual Membership; Non-profit organizations of archivists based in the US
Requirements
Applications must clearly demonstrate how the project advances SAA goals.; Align with SAA Foundation mission, vision, and core values.; Benefit the archival profession at large.; Clearly identify the specific portion of the project to be supported.; Specify projected start and end dates for the project and funded portion.

Project Summary (Title, abstract, hosting institution); Work Plan and Methodology (Goals, methods, timeline, roles, outcomes); Purpose and Significance (Alignment with SAA/SAA Foundation goals); Impact and Outcomes (Benchmarks, dissemination, sustainability); Budget and Resources (Narrative, in-kind contributions, budget spreadsheet)
How to apply
Submit applications online via the portal.; Portal opens November 1 and closes January 31.; Track submission status via SmarterSelect platform.; Grant recommendations reviewed by SAA Foundation Board in May.; Awardees notified by May 31.
