Eligibility

Matriculating in a full-time doctoral (PhD) program relevant to epilepsy research.; Defined research plan and access to institutional resources.; Qualified mentor with epilepsy research expertise.; Not previously awarded an AES Predoctoral Fellowship.; Research must be conducted in the U.S. (U.S. citizenship not required).

Requirements

Research plan and training plan feasibility.; Scientifically significant problem in epilepsy research.; Well-conceived project with clear hypotheses.; Appropriate planned analyses and statistical approach.; Plan for data-sharing.

Application materials

Full proposals; Mentor letter of support; IRB approval (if applicable); IACUC approval (if applicable)
