Official application guidelines and program overview for the Damon Runyon-St. Jude Pediatric Cancer Research Fellowship, a four-year postdoctoral research award.
Must hold MD, PhD, MD/PhD, DDS, DVM, DO or equivalent degree; Level 1 (Basic Scientists): Degree received no more than 36 months prior to deadline; not in Sponsor's lab for more than 2 years; Level 2 (Physician-Scientists): Completed residency/clinical training; board eligible in US; apply within 2 years of ending clinical fellowship; not in Sponsor's lab for more...; Must be under the guidance of a Sponsor (tenured/tenure-track); Foreign candidates may only conduct research in the United States; Candidates who have accepted another postdoctoral fellowship are not eligible
Requirements
Proposed research must be relevant to pediatric cancer; Must devote 100% (Level 1) or 80% (Level 2) of time to research; Proposals must not be direct extensions of graduate work; No more than two Fellows per Sponsor at any given time
