Overview and application guidelines for the Damon Runyon-Dale F. Frey Award, which provides additional financial support to exceptional Damon Runyon Fellows to accelerate their cancer research careers.
Must be a current Damon Runyon Fellow in the last year of their fellowship; Fellows selected in November 2022, May 2023, and February 2024 are eligible; Fellows who terminated awards early to accept independent academic faculty positions are eligible; Fellows who moved to for-profit organizations are not eligible
Requirements
Must commit at least 80% of full-time professional effort to research activities; Exceptional productivity and significant accomplishments during the Damon Runyon Fellowship; Potential to become a leader in cancer research; Research must have potential to impact prevention, diagnosis, or treatment of cancer
