Eligibility

Grantee institutions receiving DRCRF research grants, fellowships, or other awards

Requirements

Grantee institutions must use diligent efforts to patent and commercialize discoveries; Grantee institutions must inform DRCRF in writing of patent filings and license agreements; Grantee institutions must provide annual written reports on patent status and commercialization efforts; DRCRF is entitled to a portion of consideration received from licensing or exploitation of intellectual property; Grantee institutions and DRCRF must negotiate a royalty-sharing agreement
