College sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students enrolled full-time as of Nov. 5, 2025.; Includes December graduates.; U.S. students studying abroad and international students with work visas are eligible.; Former professionals (worked full-time as a journalist for a year or more) are not eligible.

Requirements

Résumé; Unofficial transcript (undergraduate for graduate students).; 500-word essay on impactful journalistic action in the past year.; 3-5 work samples (clips, digital content, or code/visualizations for data journalism).; Combine work samples into one PDF or Word document.
