LAF CSI Firms and Projects

Details the Landscape Architecture Foundation's Case Study Investigation (CSI) program for firms to document exemplary landscape projects.

Eligibility
Designers apply with a particular project; Applicant must be landscape architect of record for design firms; Nonprofit organizations, government agencies, facilities departments, and other entities are eligible if they played a primary role in design and implementation; Proposed projects must be built and operating/in use for at least one year by February; Projects completed more than 10 years ago are not recommended
Requirements
Ongoing involvement and commitment from the design firm, particularly the Firm Liaison; Firm Liaison provides key project information, access to personnel, assists research team, participates in webinars; Firms devote 20-35 staff hours between February and August; Proposed projects should generate quantified environmental, social, and economic performance benefits; Projects should reflect innovation in design, materials, policy, partnerships, and/or process
