Eligibility

Applicants from professional practice, academic institutions, and research organizations are welcome.; Preference for research teams partnering professional practice with academia/research organizations.; At least one Principal Investigator must be engaged in landscape architecture.; Must have a bachelor's or master's degree in landscape architecture (or related discipline if landscape architecture is not recognized).; Must communicate in written and spoken English at an advanced/professional level.

Requirements

Research projects must be relevant and impactful for professional practice.; Projects must be completed in a 12- to 18-month period.; Proposed research should relate to specific areas like sustainability, climate change, social equity, health, biodiversity, etc.; Applicants must clearly state the research question.; Grantees must submit quarterly progress reports and maintain contact with LAF.

Important dates

Grant period begins in the summer or fall.; Grant duration is 12 or 18 months.
