Dissertations must represent original work making a significant contribution to the discipline.; Fields for 2026: Mathematics, Physical Sciences & Engineering, and Social Sciences.; Degree completion date must be between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2026.; Nominations must be made by 'regular' institutional members of CGS in good standing.; Each institution may nominate one person per field (maximum two per institution).

Dissertation must be completed within the specified date range.; For interdisciplinary work, a significant portion must fall within the 2026 competition fields.; Nomination must be submitted by a CGS institutional member.; Dean's signature; Nominee name; Dean's name and title

Nomination form; Dissertation abstract (max 5 double-spaced pages, plus optional 5 pages for appendices); Three letters of recommendation (supervisor, committee member, and one of choice); Nominee's curriculum vitae (max 5 pages); Certification of support signed by the CGS institutional primary membership contact; Certification of Dean Support for Nomination form
